Brendan Rodgers Has Done Wonders at Liverpool

Liverpool finished 7th in the 2012/2013 season of the English Premier League. But this season has been different. With an initial target of qualifying for the prestigious UEFA Champions league, the team has done that and defied expectation to with 7 points of winning the Premier League title.

That is quite a leap. And much of it is thank to their manager, Brendan Rodgers. He has worked with the team to bring a pleasing style, free scoring attacks and maximum points home and away.

The defensive frailties of the team caught up with Liverpool in the last three games, but once those are fixed with a few new players and more confidence and cohesion instilled in the entire team, there is no reason Liverpool will not be up there fighting for the title next season.

Well done, Liverpool. Next season should be even better. With the Premier League title and UEFA Champions League Cup to fight for. In the words of Brendan Rodgers:

We’ll add to the group and we’ll be ready to fight again next season, but now we’ve got the belief.
